NEWS

Our 2024 kidding season is underway and we expect to have new kids in the spring!  We’ve been busy on setting up our fall/winter pairings with our 2 herdsires, Flame and Mystery. Our hope is to have our females giving birth around May of 2024. Keep checking back for updates as we continue through the winter!

About Us

A family affair

Our commitment to care & health

Breeding to the standard

Miski Fox Farm is a small, family-run farm that raises and sells Nigerian Dwarf goats. We moved to Loveville, MD in September of 2017 and began our adventure raising chickens. We bought our first Nigerian Dwarf (ND) goat in June of 2019, and we fell in love with the breed. ND goats are a dairy breed with a fun, friendly personality. Their size and temperament make them the perfect animal for our daughters to raise and show for 4-H and a wonderful addition to our farm. With careful consideration and responsible breeding, we are committed to creating a herd with great milking lines. dairy goat

Breeding to the standard

Our  herd  is  registered  with  the  American Dairy  Goat  Association  (ADGA)  under  MIFX  where  we  have  been  a  member  farm  since  2019. We register all  of  our individual  Nigerian  Dwarf  dairy  goats  (except  wethers)  with  ADGA  and breed to the  established   standard to improve milk lines. We  follow  all  ethical  practices  for  breeding  and  selling  as  outlined  by  the  ADGA.

Our commitment to care & health

We take our goats health and well being seriously!  Our goats have been tested and our herd is Caseous Lymphadenitis (CL) and Caprine arthritis and encephalitis (CAE) negative.  Our herd is barn kept and maintained to reduce parasitic issues.  We socialize our kids born here on the farm and they are handled frequently. We  practice milk sharing with the does but also bottle feed kids as required.
